A few years ago I was hit with a debilitating form of arthritis from which I thought I would never recover. As part of my therapy I first reacquainted myself with my knitting needles to limber up my fingers, then took out my sewing machine to get my hands and arms in motion. As my hands became more useful, my creative interests took turns that, a few years ago, I would have never thought possible. Today I keep my hands busy by creating holiday ornaments, sewing quilts, and digitizing/stitching out embroidery designs to use in all my crafts. Recently, I’ve been focusing my skills to sew washable fabric masks in search of the perfect fit for family, friends, and local donations.
